Secrets in His Eyes by Elouise R. East

Spinning off from Too Many Secrets, this story tells a sweet taboo romance between the Ford & Tyler's father and his own brother as they come to terms with their feelings for each other.

From the Secrets in His Eyes blurb:

Having suffered the most imaginable pain a child could – the murders of their parents – Alek and Peter spend their lives in each other’s pockets, too scared of losing the one person who means so much to them. Each other.

Their feelings change over the years, and it becomes harder to keep a lid on it. Their eyes hold the weight of secrets, but neither crosses the line…until Alek realises they’re living half a life when they could be whole. They have to decide if they should finally go their separate ways…or go forward. Together.

But can they let go of their lifelong concerns? After all, they’re older now. They should know better.

An MM brothers taboo romance with older characters

Heather's Review:
Going in, this book wasn't exactly what I thought it would be... it was definitely taboo, but super sweet at the same time. If you're going into this brothers romance looking to melt your kindle, you may be disappointed, because it's a slow build to a sweet finish - don't get me wrong, they connect, but it's not the hot and heavy passion you often get from a taboo story...

It really is more about connection and comfort with your person than it is about a grand romance... it was sweet and a lovely read and if you go in with that mindset, you will love this book.
