Killer Attraction (A Bad Boy Anthology Story Book 2) by Jennifer O'Malley

When you are blinded by love ❤️

From the Killer Attraction blurb:

Homicide Detective Aiden Cooper is on the hunt for a serial killer. But he never imagined looking so close to home.

Despite not remembering a part of his past, that unknown factor defines Aiden Cooper’s life. He knows he almost died but he doesn’t know why. Now, he spends his life hunting killers and answering the why for those who can no longer seek answers themselves. When he meets Nathan Turner, it was only supposed to be one night. Then he shows up out of the blue and it is a whirlwind romance.

But the thing about the wind is that it kicks up things that were long buried. Things like secrets. Lies. Truth.

Nathan Turner always knew he was never going to have a normal life. Psychopaths never do. But when he first caught sight of Aiden Cooper, he knew the other man would be his. Forever. And he’d do anything to make it happen.

But betrayal is a hard pill to swallow. Even more so when you’re on opposite sides of the law. Both of their lives hang in the balance based on decisions the other will make.

Killer Attraction features an obsessed psychopath, a cinnamon roll homicide detective, stalking, on page murder, a secret identity, and a whole lot of love.

Nedra's review:

Another new author for me, along with another great storyline. Even though the author stated the book was a dark romance, it was more along the lines of a contemporary novel. Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand why it was classified as dark, so please pay attention to any warnings given, there just wasn’t enough darkness for my opinion.

Nate was an interesting character, with antisocial personality disorder and a need for blood to balance himself. Aiden was the unfortunate (or fortunate if you look at it from a different perspective) obsession of Nate’s fight against himself. As a counselor, I could depict every single issue that was noticed, but I don’t get paid to diagnose and I actually did enjoy reading this one.
