Troubled: An Erotic Stepbrothers Romance by Harry Applebottom

Being attracted to your straight stepbrother is a problem. Wesley doesn't expect Leo to easily accept him into his life, let alone that their connection may have Leo opening himself up to Wesley.

From the Troubled blurb:

Uprooted from the only home he’s ever known, loner Wesley Binks moves across the country to finish his
senior year of high school and live with his estranged father—and his extended family. But when he meets his stepbrother, golden boy Leo Richards, an unexpected connection develops. As the two become more acquainted, Wesley will discover that beneath the picturesque façade is someone as troubled as him.

SNik's Review:

Standalone. Quick read. Single POV.

Sent to live with the father that had abandoned him, Wesley is not prepared to settle into his new reality where he can afford nice things and has a stepbrother that sparks all kinds of fantasies. Once Leo tries to take Wesley under his wing they discover an attraction and connection that they both want to explore.

This story happens in a short time frame and although Wesley wants to take it slow they end up tumbling quickly into a relationship. Both Wesley and Leo are likable and have rough pasts that haunt them, but they are supportive towards each other even though they are young adults. This was a well written entertaining read with some steam and an HFN.
