Sexless in Seattle (Rom-Com Reboot) by DJ Jamison

Sexless in Seattle is a low angst, and sweet first novella in a Rom-Com Reboot series by author DJ Jamison.

From the blurb:

My life is no rom-com movie...

Ever since my parents died, I've had one priority, and it isn't romance. Raising my younger brother is a full-time job.

I don't have time for a personal life, and I've accepted that I'll be the world's oldest virgin by the time Eric no longer needs me.

But when my younger brother decides to post on a Seattle social media site and play matchmaker with one of the responders, everything changes.

Suddenly, my life is full of sweet text messages, scary choices, and romantic rendezvous--all courtesy of one stubborn little brother determined to see me find love.

I don't know whether to hug him or ground him.

Maybe I'll do both.

Right after I watch Sleepless in Seattle again, and wonder if maybe there could be a leading man for me after all.

Sexless in Seattle is a Rom-Com Reboot with a few new twists and a LOT more M/M romance!

Jacqueleen the Reading Queen's Review:

"Being in love with someone who also loved me back was an incredible thing."

This was a totally adorable novella. Zach was such an amazing brother to Eric. Maybe even too amazing since he basically neglected his own needs/wants in favor of raising him. I totally get wanting to be the best parent, but there definitely needs to be some balance so both brothers can be their best mentally. Their relationship was really sweet though regardless of Eric's meddling in his brothers dating life.

Tristan was an absolute lovebug. He was so patient with Zach and it was exactly what Zach needed in order for him to feel comfortable moving forward with their relationship. It definitely helped that Tristan included Eric in a lot of their meet-ups because it was proof to Zach he was well aware he came as a package deal. Not to mention a pack of nosey, but well intentioned friends. Speaking of Zach's friends, I'm intrigued about straight boy Austin and will be keeping an eye out for his story in You've Got Male!

Heather's Review:

What a great theme for DJ Jamison's nest series - taking iconic rom-com movies and adding her own special magic, making them gay (of course) and giving us all the feels with all the fun!

I think Eric was definitely my favourite character - the kid behind the magic, if you were.. but Tristan and Zach were adorable in their own right and the book was a quick and fun read!
