A very engaging and entertaining fantasy novel. Love the world building (though I do wish there was a map for reference ....) and the characters - the 2 MC's and the rest of the group, definitely found family vibe. Told from 2 POV's - we get to know the characters quickly without an overload of details ..... and there is plenty of depth to this story with all of the plot twists, soooo good !! I couldn't put the book down ..... and come to the ending, oh boy, there's more going on that you'd originally think....so yes, it's a bit of a cliffhanger..... Can't wait for next in series !
