It's a perfect low angst forced proximity stepbrothers age gap holiday read. That has two step brothers who never really had the chance to get to know one another get that chance. Jonathan escapes to his cabin for his first 5 single holidays to wallow. What he doesn't expect is for Hayden to come crashing in and changing everything. Jonathan & Hayden are such polar opposites in the way their brain works that it takes them to actually talk to see how similar they really are.  

Over their long weekend together, they come to soon realize it's worth a try for something real.

Jonathan will bring order and encouragement to Hayden, while Hayden will bring joy and spontaneity to Jonathan's. A fun overall read of two men getting real and seeing life from the other side for the better.

Jonathan is a man of routine. He has a strict schedule that he sticks to and doesn't stray from it. Sometimes things will come out of his mouth that sound judgemental, but it's not how he means it to be. 

 Hayden has been known by others to be flighty, uncaring, and carefree. But that's not who he really is, and when these two men are snowed in together at the cabin, they learn there is a lot more to each other than what they assumed. 

I thought this book was an interesting take on the stepbrother romance trope. It definitely is high steam more than anything else. I wish there was more of a focus on a romantic development occurring between the two MCs. Whereas they were heavily focused on the steamy moments. Despite this being a shorter story and it being high steam, there was quite a bit of character development that happened. Both men realized things about themselves and each other and learned from each other as well. Overall, if you like a high steam, snowed in, stepbrother, age-gap, insta-love romance, this is the book for you!
