If only someone could see that Cas isn't really a Himbo, but no one ever sees past his looks. Jason can see that Cas is attractive, but being attracted to him is a whole other thing. But has Jason met what always seemed out of reach, a sweet guy that he can care about who may just feel the same no matter what?
From the blurb:
Surely I can’t fail at falling in love?
Cas
I’m not one of those people who has everything figured out. I work at my dad’s company because it’s expected, not because I enjoy it. And I may film adult videos at Elite 8 Studios in my free time, but when it comes to my love life, I’m tired of being treated like a plaything.
Jason is different. The blushing barista is demisexual, and unlike most people, he doesn’t care about what’s on the outside. He’s sweet and shy and surprisingly fierce when it comes to me, and for the first time ever, I feel seen.
But Jason has battles of his own beyond graduating nursing school. His health is in question, and suddenly, we have bigger issues than navigating a new relationship.
I never denied being a Himbo, but there’s one thing I know for certain. I’ll go to bat for Jason and me. Because love is worth fighting for.
Himbo is a romance full of first times between a sweetly sincere adult entertainer and the demi virgin who protects him at all costs. There’s a shocking meet-cute, dates that go only somewhat awry, a dash of humor, the best of friends, and one very HEA. It’s book four in the Elite 8 Studios series but can be read as a standalone.
SNik's Review:
Fourth in series (Elite 8 Studios), but can be read as a standalone. Demi representation. Dual POV.
Cas may be considered a himbo like his stage name, but there’s more to him than just his pretty face, and when he asks a cute barista out on a date, Cas is hoping Jason might be someone that sees beyond his looks.
Jason is taking a risk trying to date Cas, busy with a job plus nursing school, he has a possible health problem in his future and it takes time for him to feel attraction to anyone and people rarely want to hang around to see if it happens.
Cas is kind, caring, patient, and insightful, and Jason falls for him quickly. Cas and Jason are actually incredibly sweet together with plenty of steamy interactions and many supportive and honest conversations throughout.
The author writes characters with emotion and there are romantic moments full of feelings of hope, love, and yearning.
This was a charming read, the characters likable, the secondary cast supportive and the HEA well deserved.

Reedkaye's Review:
I’ve loved this series from the start and really enjoyed this addition to it.
The characters are so lovable.
Cas has tried to live up to his family’s expectations forever, but it is making him more insecure and unhappy. Others' opinions of him hurt because they don’t see who he is as a person. When he meets Jason, I could not stop laughing.
Jason is an overly shy guy. He is working as a barista while studying to become a nurse. When he meets Cas, everything that can go wrong does.
There is instant attraction between these two. I love how they each see the other as other people don’t. I laughed so much at so many things… their meeting, Jason stumbling through gaining experience, meeting the family, dealing with the ex and so many more events.
I really appreciate that the author let us know where these two’s lives were headed in the end. I really feel in love with Brad and can’t wait until his story is told.

Angel's Review:
Himbo, aka Cas, works part time at Elite 8 studios, and part time at his family's office. That's not where he wants to be, though. He's not like his family. He wants something different. He wants to help people; he wants to use his money for good. Once he meets his shy and fierce lion, he finally has the courage and support to go after what he wants.
Jason works as a barista while he's studying/training to be a nurse. When he meets Cas, he can't believe the man would be interested in him. Turns out Cas is not only interested but committed to being with Jason, no matter what.
This story was flawless! The relationship between characters, the dialogue, the emotional upheaval, the background, the humor, the romance was done so beautifully and with such excellence. I'm honestly blown away by Cas and Jason's story. I really appreciate the representation with Jason's character being Demisexual, it was really nice to see that not only as a part of his character but to also have it written and explained really well. I, myself, am a part of the ace spectrum, so it was really cool reading about a character I could relate to.
The characters themselves were so great. I loved the friendship that Jason and Brad had with one another. Their banter is hilarious. How committed they are to one another, how much they care for the others' well being really shines through. That was a beautiful depiction of friendship. The sweetest of slow burns that occurred between Cas and Jason's was so, so good. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and develop, along with these two learning more about each other and supporting one each other with big life decisions. The way Cas's character was so sweet and so giving, and kind, made his character shine through the pages.
I loved the focus on giving back to others, how Cas was committed to helping out the kids at the community center and how he wanted to help and donate, to do what he could. The aspect of Jason's health, I think, was handled beautifully. That was done with care and thought. You could tell Emmy researched that before having that component be a part of this story.
I loved these characters and their story, so beautiful and romantic, full of tender moments and will definitely evoke loads of feelings.

Heather's Review:
I love when characters connect as themselves, despite having a larger than life persona that they wear... Cas is such a sweet guy who really needs someone in his corner! I love that Jason can be that for him, even when Jason questions if he's good enough himself... and I love that Cas accepts Jason's demisexuality and accepts that a physical relationship may never be in the cards..
This was a beautifully written book that allows the characters to grow and develop as individuals and as a couple... I liked the pacing, the build up and the fact that these two make wonderful friends as they become lovers.
