This book is just so right. West was brought up to hide part of himself from his professional and personal life to avoid conflict. Roary was not he was brought up to be out and proud in both his professional and personal life. With such different pasts, it was easy to see why issues presented, but these two talked as soon as they noticed the issue, and for that, I commended them.
The chemistry is palpable of these two. It's no surprise everyone can see there is something more.
Roarys family is the best ever, and I love how accommodating they are to both their children and the curve balls life throws their way, the kind of love all families should show their children.
The Court drag family is one that I need to get to more from each, and everyone has an engaging personality that just draws you in and wants more. Loved seeing past couples and how they all are tied together!

Charlie Novak returns to give some of the queens we met in Always Eli their HEA with this new spin off series, The Court! I honestly love that Charlie Novak doesn't orphan side characters... they just queue up for their HEA in a spin off series when the right match comes along... This time we see the pairing of West, Theo's brother from Like I Wanted (Heather Bay) with Roary, who we met in Always Eli (Forever Love) and it's lovely!
This opposites attract story begins with a meet cute for the ages and keeps rolling along, pairing steamy chemistry with a chance for West to step into himself and realize the half life he was living, hiding part of himself behind the sports curtain...
You don't need to have read what has come before, but you'll definitely see familiar faces if you have. I can't wait to see more of the Queens from The Court get their HEA (and watch for side characters who will need to start their own series in the future...
