Sweet, light and filled with festive activities - Carl and Nick start out fake-dating for the holidays and with every passing holiday activity and sweet kiss, they grow closer together. I love that Carl knows his limitations and expresses his wants - cudddles, intimacy but not casual sex... and I love that Nick can discover that his own level of sexual need is normal and can be named...
Christmas Carl gives us small town, Hallmark-y vibes without being too over the top sweet and I love some of the twists with Nick's mom... If you're looking for a low-angst, low steam read for the holidays I definitely recommend checking out Christmas Carl.
