How the Necromancer in the Gold Vest Saved My Life: Disaster #4 (Princes of Mayhem) by Jocelynn Drake

Disaster #4 is the final part of this fantastic serial. If you've been waiting, the omnibus edition of the serial is out next week!

From the blurb:

Disaster #4: Who Woke the Dead?

Something has escaped from the underworld!

Sky would like to point out that this is NOT his fault.

But, yes, something has escaped, and it has all the dead crawling out of their graves.

Naturally, the humans are freaking out.

Except for the sexy one living across the street.

Nolan is ready to jump into the fray and help Sky round up the underworld fugitive.

Sky's going to need all the help he can get--not just from his coven but all the witches he can get his hands on.

How the Necromancer in the Gold Vest Saved My Life is a serial comprising four novellas that follow the insane adventures of necromancer Skylar Wallace and his next-door neighbor Nolan Banks. This is the final book and contains witches, demons, underworld minions, more sandwiches, stolen smexy time, an angry Grammy, and something scary running wild in Connecticut.

Jacquie's Review:

All the way through this serial has delivered magic, fun, humor, and a great story.

While it's a spin-off from the Lords of Discord, none of the Variks appear in this outing, which made sense to me. Sky and Nolan were the focus, and their HEA is so sweet and well earned.

Disaster #4 starts immediately after #3 ended with Sky being stolen away by a demon to deal with his "crimes." Hilarious, absolutely hilarious. I spent the first 20% laughing.

The great thing about this serial, aside from Sky and Nolan, is that it's also an introduction to a new series! We don't have to say goodbye to these characters, and that makes me so happy.

Rating: 5 Stars
