Heather says, "I love the chance to go back to River Gorge and Gibson is particularly special because we've been watching Tristan and Gibson circle each other through several books...
From the blurb:
“Thank you, Daddy.” Three little words uttered in a moment of weakness that have the power to undo all the years of progress Tristan has made as the mayor of River Gorge.
“Thank you, Daddy.” Three little words Gibson Carr had never dreamed he would hear come from his best friend’s gorgeous mouth.
But once the words are out there, Tristan can’t take them back or laugh them off as a joke, because Gibson isn’t having it. He’s wanted Tristan since he was old enough to know what wanting was, and he has no intention of letting fear keep them apart.
Mayor Tristan may have big plans for their small town, but Daddy Gibson has big plans for the mayor.
Come along with Gibson and Tristan as they learn how to navigate a transition from a forty-year friendship to love… all with the added pressure of an election year.
Heather's Review:
We finally get Gibson and Tristan's story! While this can be read standalone, you'll get more out of it after watching these two struggle as best friends who have underlying chemistry through the previous stories in this series and the original River Gorge books.
I truly enjoy watching them navigate the change in their relationship from best friends to lovers and Daddy/boy. This book showcases a true caring daddy role and shows us that even strong, involved men can crave the love and adoration of a daddy, allowing the stress of two demanding careers to recede and watching Gibson take care of Tristan was beautiful. This story flows wonderfully - giving us insights into their relationship and also showing us the further development of the town of River Gorge and I lapped it up! Bonus- Gibson adopts a puppy (real dog)!

SNik's Review:
Third in series (Daddies of River Gorge), can be read as a standalone but might be more fun if read in order. Friends to lovers. Mature characters. Daddy/boy. Slow burn. Dual POV.
No one knows that the mayor of River Gorge is secretly a boy yearning for a Daddy, but Tristan has worked hard to be a confident and respected lawyer and doesn’t feel like people will take him seriously if they find out. When his best friend accidentally reveals that he is a boy, Gibson is angry and hurt, but quickly realizes this is his chance to finally have the boy he has always cherished ever since they were kids.
It’s an easy build to something more for Gibson and Tristan. There is already trust and honest communication, and the caring only has to take one more step to love. Gibson is a doting Daddy, and Tristan appreciates that Gibson has his best interests at heart and can let go of his worries with a genuine partner.
A sweet read with no drama, finally the right time for two independent men to find love.
