So after reading Unfortunate and meeting Holden I knew I had to read his book. And lucky me because not only was his book by an author I've enjoyed in the past, but I was able to score an ARC! I really loved how both of these men were basically struck dumb by the other. Holden's the resident playboy of the island. Everyone knows he's not the settling down type. Enter the new guy Chase. Chase, who's escaped small town South Dakota in need of a change. Chase, who's never been with a man in his life. Chase, who can't seem to stop ogling Holden's peachy ass.

Chase wasn't the only one enamored at first meeting. Holden locks on him like a heat seeking missile, though he denies it long enough. These two almost immediately jump to the steam aspect of their relationship, while slowly coming to the realization that horny isn't the only thing they feel when they are together. I was impressed with how brave Chase was. I think Holden needed him to be the one to put the cards on the table so to speak. Holden has some insecurity issues stemming from his past which causes him to hide behind his shields. That is until Chase comes along and demolishes his way through them.

I loved how the title tied into the story. Neither man has ever felt this way before, except for each other. They were hot AF together, and maybe a little co dependent if I'm being honest. There's also plenty of Rose's signature cuddling in case you were wondering. Oh and I must mention Bob. That damn monkey is wild. I hope he makes some more appearances in the rest of the books in this series. His antics had me laughing my ass off, especially his penchant for underwear. I can't wait to see what he steals next.

Since the beginning of the Unlucky 13 series, I've been waiting to see who Holden falls for and Chase is exactly what I hoped for!

Chase knows he wants something different, but has no idea what that is... and that appeals to Holden's innate need to push people's limits... and discovers he likes being Chase's firsts...

This story was steamy, exploring and even sweet... with a bi-awakening, and exceptions made just for each other - a wonderful addition to the series and a nice break from the broken super-rich characters...
