Mike Bravo Ops: Atlas by Eden Finley - Review and GIveaway

Eden Finley continues the Mike Bravo Ops series by taking Atlas undercover in a thong and a bow tie!

From the blurb:

ATLAS

Working undercover at a strip club is not my usual kind of job. If it weren’t a great opportunity to show the Mike Bravo team I can run my own op, I wouldn’t have agreed to it.

When my boss asks me to befriend the biggest gossip in the establishment, the person who knows everything, I’m even more reluctant. Because that happens to be one of the dancers. The only dancer to catch my attention in all the wrong ways.

I need to be professional or I will never prove I’m leadership material.

Only problem is, the guy with the stage name Lemon makes me want to be anything but professional.

LEMON

I’m sick of the new bartender throwing dirty looks my way. He’s as judgmental as he is hot, and let’s just say he’s really judgmental.

I don’t know why he’s working here if he looks down on us dancers so much. He could bartend at a regular club.

But when he saves me from a drunken customer getting too handsy, his attitude suddenly flips, and we find ourselves becoming … friends?

Underneath the judgment, it turns out Atlas is a total sweetheart.

Maybe more caring than anyone I’ve ever met.

I’ve never had a relationship before, but something tells me it could be way too easy to fall for the gentle giant.

Jacqueleen The Reading Queen's Review:

Atlas is the newest release in the Mike Bravo world and to be honest I didn't really know what to expect going in. He's one of the less crazy guys that are part of Travis's team of special ops men. I also knew that he was a relationship man who wasn't one for hookups. The fact that he was going to be falling in love with a stripper was definitely a bold choice for such a man, especially with the misconceptions that surrounds those in the sex industry.

"Everyone watches you. It's impossible to look away."

Honestly I'm going to have to agree with Lemon and say that Atlas is most definitely a unicorn among men. He's sex on stick with his faux hawk and muscles galore, yet all he yearns for is to find his person. Someone he can cherish. Someone he can protect. Oh and someone who won't mind that the sweet man is also possessive AF. Even though Lemon makes it clear he can take care of himself, he also can't lie and say it isn't wonderful to have someone else taking care of him for a change.

"Do what you promised."

"What I promised?"

"Take me to bed and own me."

Atlas's book was less action packed than the previous one, but there was still plenty going on plot wise. As usual things don't always go to plan and that includes Atlas's promise to himself to not fall for his mark aka Lemon. I have no idea whose book is next because we aren't really given a hint. If I had to pick someone I guess I'd say Zeus since he appeared the most. And what a shock that one is going to be seeing someone land the biggest commitment phobe of the group. I guess we'll see!

Heather's Review:

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from Atlas' book, because he always seemed like the most down to earth and quiet of the bunch... so instead of amping up his personality, Eden Finley drops him into an over the top undercover situation - bartending in a thong and a bow tie at a strip club while trying to uncover a plot to find stolen profits...

The situation, more than the characters really direct the story and beyond the romance, which is fairly straightforward and really sweet, the plot of solving the embezzlement takes a few twists and turns...

For me, I loved that the relationship was fairly low angst and the trust building was there... I think I was missing just a little bit of the chaos and action of the first two books though...

I can't wait to see who's up next in the series and where we go with the Mike Bravo Ops team!

About the Author

Eden Finley is an Amazon bestselling author who writes steamy contemporary romances that are full of snark and light-hearted fluff.

She doesn't take anything too seriously and lives to create an escape from real life for her readers. The ideas always begin with a wackadoodle premise, and she does her best to turn them into romances with heart.

With a short attention span that rivals her son's, she writes multiple different pairings: MM, MMF, and MF.

She's also an Australian girl and apologises for her Australianisms that sometimes don't make sense to anyone else.
