M.C Roth is an author for me to keep an eye on. The first scene in Kinked Up is burned into my memory!

It was a different way to start a book and I really liked it! 

There are a lot of kinks, so this book won't be for everyone. For me it was perfect, the story was a little dark at times - humiliation and pain plays are a theme. But Trick and Nav's story captivated me and never let go. 

The intensity of Trick and Nav's D/s relationship was brought out brilliantly, as well as what happens when someone crosses a line. It was incredibly well done. 

I listened to the audiobook in almost one go. The story was compellingly written and the audiobook was a class read.

Shannon Gunn is a new narrator for me. He has a really pleasant, dark voice and brings a lot of emotion and nuance to his work. He conveyed the emotions well and I really enjoyed his performance.
