Brimstone, Culinary Creatures Book 1 by L. Eveland

Brimstone is a short and spicy novella, full of food and spicy times.

From the blurb:

Becoming Brimstone’s head chef is a dream come true, even though I’m the only human on the staff.
Working for Chef Inzo Amoretti? Not so much. Sure, he’s a talented genius and distractingly gorgeous, but he’s also a demanding incubus with impossibly high standards, especially when it comes to me. It seems nothing I do in the kitchen is good enough for Chef Inzo.

Yet he’s so sinfully attractive, I can’t stop thinking about him, even when he’s shouting at me.
Falling for my boss is bad enough, but for an incubus? Is it worth putting my soul on the line for a little taste of heaven?

Brimstone is the first book in the Culinary Creatures series. Each novella in this series is a standalone MM monster romance that features high heat, low stakes, and a delicious recipe you can try at home!

Angel's Review:

I haven't read much by L. Eveland, however that's going to change as I am now hooked on this world they've created.

I love when books have cooking elements/features in their story, so to have both MC's be apart of the cooking world was really awesome! There was so much detail with describing Inzo's restaurant along with the food he and Adam prepared.

At first I wasn't hooked on the relationship between these two, it was very much hatred on Inzo's side, and I didn't really know how that could suddenly morph into something different. But it did! We got to see more of his character and who he really is after a certain scene... If you've read the book, you know what I'm talking about.

I don't think I've read a book quite like this one before, and I'm glad I was able to read this book. There was food, unique creatures, a nosy werewolf who's just trying to help people fall in love, and spicy times with a tail.

Oh! And there is also a recipe in the book! The recipe that Inzo and Adam made in the book is actually the recipe we get to know and try for ourselves! That was a really neat touch.

I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
