A Brat for Kinkmas follows Beau's story, the final roommate left in JP Sayle's stories in the Cuff'd universe. It, of course, includes the hilarious Christmas sweaters, but has a much darker feel to the story than the first two.

Ziv has a much more dubious history than Akker and Smithy. Growing up in the middle of the Serbian war, he has done anything needed to come out on top. Now the head of a branch of the mafia, he tightly guards himself as well as his heart.
A chance encounter brings these two together, and no matter what, Ziv can't get Beau out of his system.
We get to see Beau's devastation at being dropped like a hot potato, and how hard he makes Ziv work to get back in his good graces.
I really liked this installment, and am sad there are no more roommates for future stories!

What if a man, Ziv, who does not do relationships, after trauma as a child broke his heart, is intrigued and can not forget about an intriguing and beautiful man?
Beau is the man Ziv can not forget after having taking care of him after an accident and some of the best 'playtime' and more. Beau is not too pleased by Ziv, his behaviour and challenges him and is taking some of the reigns in their interactions. Ziv takes it on and finds he finds pleasure in life where his wonderfully bratty boy Beau is concerned and starts to open his heavily guarded heart.
I really enjoyed this story. The author has a great pacing and I love that Beau, being the bratty boy, is not just rolling over and lets Ziv work for his attention and love in such a way he realizes he wants Beau for love and not just play. I also like the interludes with Beau and his friends and how their partners are also protective and standing up for Beau.
For me, this book is a different holiday read with plenty of kink and steam but also with heart.

There’s a lot about this book to love, and there’s a lot to despise. I absolutely adored the growth Ziv made throughout the pages, but I also despised his treatment of Beau at times. Even though he was initially closed-off, with every right to be considering his childhood, he was finally able to accept his feelings for Beau and began to open up.

Beau and Ziv were definitely an intense couple. How Ziv took complete control of Beau, edging him into a blubbering mess, was smoking hot! And, how Ziv cared for Beau, a completely different side! Beau was such a sweet, gentle soul, perfect for Ziv’s iced exterior. Absolutely loved how their relationship grew into something way more than expected, but needed for both.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to beta read this book by chance and fell in love with Ziv and Beau - and I love that we get to know so much more about the characters and their histories, making them who they are today...
This is a wonderful opposites attract story and gives us unexpected strength from Beau and unexpected sweetness from Ziv as they grow from playmates to more!
