OMG – this story just broke my heart…. High angst, romantic in a small town setting with a couple of stubborn guys.
The opening chapter starts in present day but as the story unfolds, we have flashback chapters (told from a POV’s each) of certain dates in their friendship…. And the timeline counts down to bring us back into present day.
So well written – we see them from when they first meet and how the friendship blooms and stalls and blooms and…well, you get the idea. The depth of feeling throughout the story… totally slayed me.
Awesome, awesome story !! This can be read as a standalone as past characters just pop up, but do yourself a favour… get the whole series !!
