Bishop (Blue Collar Daddies #6) by Jacki James

This is the 6th book in the Blue Collar Daddies series and I loved it just as much as the others. This book focuses on Bishop who is a mechanic and friend of Gunnar and Rory who is a baker with his own cookie business.

From the blurb:

Bishop was looking for a boy of his own, but he didn’t expect that boy to be his best friend’s little brother.

When Rory’s car breaks down on the way to make the most important delivery of his career, he thinks it is the worst thing that could have possibly happened to him. Little did he know it would turn out to be the best.

Lucky for him, his brother’s best friend comes to the rescue, and not only is his career saved, but he learns that sometimes what we really need isn’t at all what we thought we wanted. Now he just has to convince his big ole bear that he is a grown man and not the kid he remembers from years ago

If strong men who work hard, play hard, and love even harder are your thing, you won’t want to miss the Blue Collar Daddies series.

Reds Book Reads Review:

I loved these two so much! I thought it was great the way Bishop’s daddy tenancies shone through in all the little things he started doing for Rory. I also enjoyed how determined Rory was that he didn’t need a daddy but was still patient enough to listen to Bishop as he explained it all.

I always love how everyone in this series is connected and how they all show up the whole way through and this book is no exception. Another great book from Jacki James and I loved it!

Heather's Review:

I absolutely love how Jacki James explores the Daddy/boy relationship differently with each book she writes and how unique Bishop and Rory's relationship is - and how it evolves further within the story!  I'm also a sucker for best friend's borther/brother's best friend tropes and a boy in distress...

Plus - cookies - omg, do not read this book on an empty stomach - you'll be googling cookie recipes for days...

So sweet and just the right amount of steamy!  I couldn't put Bishop down...
