Three's Company (Village Affairs #2) by Kristian Parker

Three's Company features another intense storyline filled with suspense, passion and excitement! Oh, plus an angsty teenager!

From the blurb:

They’re the perfect throuple…if only the rest of the world agreed.

Will Johnstone’s father is desperately ill, and he races home from London to the Yorkshire village of Napthwaite to be with him. Almost immediately he meets cute postman, Hardeep and mysterious newcomer, Andrew. There weren’t handsome men like this in Napthwaite when he lived here…

Heat flares between the three very different men, passion they have no intention of resisting, or denying. But having their roots deep and their lives entwined in a small village is not like living in a bustling metropolis. And with domineering mothers, problem teenagers, sick fathers and someone’s past knocking at the door, the path of true love is anything but smooth.

Can Will, Hardeep and Andrew, three very different people, steer their relationship past the rocks and find a way into uncharted territory…together?

Reader advisory: This book contains mentions of racism, on-page violence, and depictions of an abusive relationship.

Tatted_book_freak's Review:

Three's Company is another outstanding addition to the Village Affairs series! It was so nice to be back in Napthwaite, while also receiving updates on James, Ed and Arthur. The drama continued right where it left off in Rule of Three, learning more about Matthew Johnstone and meeting his estranged son, Will.

“𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝘄𝗼.“

Will, Hardeep, and Andrew were so much fun to read about! Their differences were so intense, but their passion overrode everything. Their personal struggles were severe at times, causing hardships to their throuple, but love always wins in the end!

Kristian has a way with words, and his storylines are magnificently written. Excited for the future of Napthwaite!

Janet's Review:

Three’s Company is the second book in the Village Affairs series. You’ll want to read the first book in the series.

Will is called home to take care of his sick father. There he meets Hardeep and Andrew. Hardeep, Will and Andrew were an interesting and fun read, loved their dynamic. All were different but I was definitely rooting for their HEA. Plus we get updates into the lives of Ed, James and Arthur!

The story is really well written with fantastic pacing that sucked me into the story! I seriously adore this author's writing style.

Nicole's Review:

All the smexy times… and all the heart.

Seriously this book was fire!!! 🔥 I did not read the first book in this series so I went in knowing there would be some characters I didn’t recognize. It wasn’t detrimental to my reading experience. The character development was excellent. All three MCs were thoroughly fleshed out and I was vested in the relationship from very early on.

I do feel it moves kinda fast into the lust, especially since Hardeep was closeted with a child. I really appreciated the family dynamic that was created between Will and Matthew. I would have liked to know Andrew better. I feel like his Ana Niels relationship was a little bit of a late entry to create a climax. I loved seeing this throuple move from a one night stand into a lasting relationship. I also loved how their family interactions were realistically not an immediate acceptance.
