Frat Wars: Presidential Chaos (Frat Wars #3) by Saxon James

"Fuckery is afoot, and it doesn't feel like fraternity fun times." Presidential Chaos.

From the blurb:

Two houses. Two Presidents. One hell of a happy ending.

Zeke

Being President of a frat house means everything is on my shoulders.
Idiot brothers, epic pranks, a list of organizational duties long enough to make my eyes bleed.
None of it fazes me.
But senior year is almost over, and I’m ready to take a step back.
Until the hazing rumors start.
I might not know where they’re coming from, but I know they’re total BS.
Now, instead of dialing back the stress, we’ve broken the number one rule on the row: Don’t get the dean’s attention.
I need to find out who’s driving the lies.
And all evidence points to one person.

Charles

I never wanted to become Kappa President.
The appointment was made easier, though, when none other than Zeke Ariston took over Sigma house. I’ve always been … drawn to him.
Fascinated.
And maybe a little attracted too.
Pity I’ve never been more than an afterthought to him.
But when rumors start to circulate about hazing, and the sources lead back to my house, it puts me square on Zeke’s radar.
I want to help him get to the bottom of it all.
And with his attention finally on me, I want to tell him how I feel.

The guys on Greek Row meet their chaotic conclusion with this rivals-to-lovers romance full of pranks, shared hoodies, and secret meetings made in the dark.

Jacqueleen the Reading Queen's Review:

Words cannot express how much I'm going to miss this series and cast of characters. I've been not so patiently waiting for Zeke and Charles book ever since the title was announced and Saxon hadn't even confirmed it was about them. I may or may not have also gently nudged her on FB asking when she was going to get around to sending out ARCs. She's one of my favorite authors and this series particularly is also a favorite of mine. It's just so much fun and outright ridiculous sometimes, but I always have a smile on my face when I read them.

Zeke and Charles' book was a tad more serious toned than its predecessors. Note I said a tad. There's still plenty of hijinks and laugh out loud moments. One particularly funny moment where fart jokes are concerned still has me chuckling. Yes, I know I'm 5 years old, but it's rare you read a romance with bathroom humor so it took me by surprise. But back to the boys. It seems there was more to Zeke and Charles than meets the eye. They're both driven young men, and they're both hiding things in their own way. They bond over the pressures they feel under. Their numerous arguments are basically foreplay before they can finally get each other alone. They were hot AF and Zekes dirty mouth had both me and Charles drooling a bit.

Presidential Chaos also had a pretty focused plot that took up about as much page time as the romance. It led to Zeke and Charles spending more time than usual together, leading them to finally confront their growing feelings for each other. It was adorably sweet some moments too.

"And I let myself dream of days waking up like this, where it's nothing out of the ordinary.
Where it's me and the man I've chosen above everyone else.
A man who smells like caramel candles, wears his pride on his chin, and unexpectedly snores."

The ending has us back at the 10 year reunion again like before, but of course from Zeke and Charles perspective. Though I was so sad this was it, the epilogue wrapped the series up perfectly. In fact, I'd say it was pretty frat as fuck. These characters and their tight friendships were such a joy to read and I'll truly miss reading about them all.

Heather's Review:

This book was so good... I truly hope that the Franklin University universe yields such fun and unforgettable characters as the entire Frat Wars series has.....

Presidential Chaos brings the series to a close and gives us the closure we need by finally finding out what exactly is going on between Zeke and Charles and just how steamy they get!

This book opens with the guys trying to end a multi-year benefits arrangement and also trying to solve the mystery of who is trying to ruin the reputation of one of the frats... meaning that unlike the past several years, there is a need to work together rather than remain at arms length and familiarity breeds either contempt or more heat....

This book was a multi-layered read - a college/new adult romance with all the senior college angst, a frat feud turned partnership and lots of steam... the epilogue was a fitting tribute to all of the characters who've been featured in the Frat Wars series and a lovely way to wrap the series....

While you could read this book standalone, the author does a great job of detailing past events, you'd be remiss not to start at the beginning and enjoy all three books in the series...
