If you've been following the Harrisburg Railers, than you're going to love this peek into their world as they head to the Olympics - particularly since they're the only NHL'ers who will this year...
Playing for their country in the Winter Olympics is the highest of all honors, but when family members are pitted as rivals and a dark specter from the past turns up in Beijing, tensions run high, and abruptly, it’s not all about the hockey.
Heather's Review:
Rivals is not a standalone novella - it's a glimpse into the lives of beloved characters who get to do something extraordinary and do it together... sort of...
Beautifully written and a great epilogue to the Railers stories, you see the love between father & son, between husbands on rival teams and you even see how confronting the past can help heal the future...
If you're not already a Railers fan, may I suggest starting at the beginning with Changing Lines, Jared and Tennant's story and falling in love with the whole series before you tackle Rivals... It's the perfect time to binge a series. If you're already a fan, than you should be ready to eat this delicious extended epilogue up!
