Lost Boy by Skyler Snow

Sometimes when you're both lost, you find each other... and that's Lost Boy in a nutshell...

From the Blurb:

Thomas’ time in the spotlight is fading. Once a celebrated model he quickly realizes that things are changing the older he gets. Facing the loss of his dream and the friends he thought he had, the only question is; what comes next? When he decides to move back home to be closer to his brother, he never expects to run into a man who needs more help than anyone he's ever met before.

Beaufort, Bo to his very few friends, is down on his luck. No one knows that his life is falling apart or that he’s been sleeping in his storage unit. When Thomas realizes the truth, Bo just wants the man to leave him alone. But he can’t seem to take the hint. And Bo is pretty sure Thomas is either the biggest idiot on the planet or the sweetest man that ever lived.

It’s insanity to move in with a complete stranger, but Bo goes with his gut. And soon he realizes there’s so much more to Thomas than meets the eye.

Can Bo learn to let himself be loved, scars and all? And can Thomas accept that everyone needs help sometimes, even him?

Lost Boy contains triggers of homelessness, violence, food insecurity, etc. Please do not read if you are sensitive to the subject. Check the inside before you read please!

Atlanta Daddies Reading order: (These books can be read as standalones but if you would like to follow ALL of the couples from the very start follow this list)

Red's Book Reads Review:

I am so sad that Lost Boy is the last book in this series as I have really enjoyed these stories.

This book is the story of Bo and Thomas. Thomas is a model who has been told he is too old to continue modelling now. Bo has been kicked out by his father and is doing whatever he can to get money to protect his family.

I adored how protective Thomas was of Bo and how accepting he was of everything he had done to survive. Bo is super defensive and fiercely protective of his sister and I loved how he slowly opened up to Thomas. This book was the perfect ending to this series and featured cameos from previous couples, including Kyan and his boys. I loved the whole series and can’t wait to see what the mafia daddies bring.

Heather's Review:

I absolutely loved the pairing of Thomas and Bo... the connection, the sweetness and the burgeoning hope... their romance was what kept me pulling through the book...

(My critique contains a spoiler and introduces characters not mentioned in the blurb)

What I didn't like was the helplessness and lack of action with regards to Bo's sister and father... once he was safe with Thomas, why they didn't do more...  and why they didn't enlist some of the other couples in helping...

Lost Boy had good pacing and the story was true to what I expect from Skyler Snow, but instead of finishing the book on a HEA, I am still reeling from what ifs...   As the last book in the series, I would have liked to have seen an epilogue that offered more from all of the couples in Atlanta...
