When Lucas is rescued by an ancient vampire he doesn’t know what compels him to return and invites Baylor to live with him, but he ends up with a roommate he quickly becomes attracted to.
This was a very quick story where you do get a little background on each character as their lives collide and they immediately fall into a relationship. It was a cute read, with a bit of spice, and I liked both Baylor and Lucas as characters that unexpectedly find love. I like these small snapshots of supernaturals finding love in the Shearwater Landing universe.
