MM Hockey Romance Firsts by RJ Scott & V.L. Locey

Collection of three previously published books, each the start of a series involving hockey players. All of these stories were entertaining and good introductions to a team of hockey players that have some members identifying on, and supporting, the queer spectrum.

From the blurb:

Three hockey romances. Three unforgettable first loves. One collection full of heart, heat, and happily-ever-afters.

A rising hockey star falls for his older coach... and his brother's best friend.

A veteran player finally gives in to years of forbidden attraction when one unforgettable summer changes everything.

A Hollywood actor desperate to land the role of a lifetime needs a hockey superstar to teach him the game, but the chemistry between them quickly goes off script.

Filled with swoony romance, sizzling chemistry, best friend's brother, age gap, fake dating, celebrity glamour, and the passion of professional hockey, the Hockey Romance Firsts Collection brings together three fan-favorite M/M romances where taking the biggest risk can lead to the greatest love story.

SNik's review:

Changing Lines (Harrisburg Railers) - Slight age gap. Friend’s brother. Coach/player. Dual POV. Tennent is the third brother to play professional hockey and he’s making a name for himself. His brother’s friend is one of his coaches, and Mads can’t deny the mutual attraction he and Tennent feel towards one another. This was one of the first hockey romance books I ever read, and the sweet slow burn and slightly steamy relationship really started off a great series with a memorable couple.

Top Shelf (Boston Rebels) - Best friend’s brother. Dual POV. Mason has been in love with his brother’s best friend for years. Now that there might be a possibility Xander could be attracted to Mason, and they are on vacation celebrating Xander’s birthday, maybe a vacation fling can turn into something more. Mason and Xander once together were sweetly in love after denying their attraction for so long.

Script (LA Storm) - Close proximity. Dual POV. Finn is desperate to land the part of a hockey player in an upcoming movie, so he hires professional hockey player Cameron to teach him how to skate and play. Neither realizes the other is attracted to men - until they do - and then the gloves come off and they fall into something neither wants to give up but have to keep secret. A closeted actor and a playboy athlete, Finn and Cameron were super steamy and actually quite sweet as they fall into love and are willing to do anything to keep it.
