Nantes happens to be in Madison when he runs into Vanian. The two immediately connect and its like no time has passed since they were last home. When things in Chicago are still too much Vanian decides to stay with Nantes to relax. These two have always had a chemistry, but in their youth, neither was ready to share or come to terms with their truths. This is a sweet bi awakening best friend to lover's romance. Even with Vanian hiding apart of him you don't feel that he is doing it out of malitian but to protect those he cares for and when his truth is let out Nantes is so unwavering of his devotion you can't help but swoon. Highly appreciated Mia put together a morally grey character fluffy romance, it's one of those series that you cannot help but want more of to see how this crazy family continues to build.
