The 3rd addition to the delightful AU Soyer and Amory series is sweet as pie with our MCs finally going on their planned romantic sleigh ride after dealing with the issues from the end of the 2nd book.
From the Clair de la Lune blurb:
Just when Soyer thinks he has what he wants, his past tries catching up with him.
Clair de la Lune has too much charm, too much snow, and too many nosy townspeople. However, Amory is just perfect.
Soyer has every intention of holding on to the tattoo artist, but his ex coming into town casts a dark shadow over the joyfulness Soyer wants to call his own.
Yet, with a blizzard coming, Soyer has no doubt who he wants to hold on to, who he wants to keep warm
Ink & Sleigh Rides follows the events of Ink & Snow and Ink & Flowers, which should be read first.

I am still very much enjoying this AU version of Soyer and Amory. Honestly, I think Piper could write these two as a pair of Octopi and I would still read it. I love them that much! Luckily in this series we get to enjoy them as everyday humans in a cozy, yet quirky little town.
Cecil makes his big debut and I can't say I missed him. He was an egotistical jerkoff in the original series and he's an egotistical jerkoff now. I do so love when Soyer puts him in his place though. What I don't love is how uncomfortable Cecil makes dear Amory. I wanted to punch him in his smug rich face.
Besides the Cecil moments, this book was sweet with a touch of heat. The sleigh ride was a delight, as was reading about Elias holiday outfit! The mysterious mayor Valentin also finally makes his debut. The ending of this one is another soft cliffy so I am hopeful to get my hands on book 4 soon!
