Not gonna lie. This one took me a bit to get into, but with second chance romances, that's not really a surprise. Bryce & Connor were best friends than lovers from a young age, with Connors urging Bryce left Valleywood to pursue his dreams of playing professional hockey. Both parties made mistakes in not trying harder to keep contact, leading to pain on both sides. When Bryce moves back to Valleywood and sees Connor again, he knows why his heart never healed. They were made for one another. This story has a good balance of redemption on both ends as well as moving forward to something stronger than before.

If you are not into mpreg, don't worry, it's in the story but not a huge part imo. It's handled well for new to the genre readers, yet gives you a taste for it. I am looking forward to seeing more from this combined universe.
