The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project: The Collected Bonus Stories by Lisa Henry & Sarah Honey

What a wonderful collection of stories in The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project!!!

From the blurb:

Catch up with the bros from Alpha Tau with this anthology of the bonus short stories.

It contains Bro Jobs, Romancing Dalton Beauregard, Make Up Sex, Pinch Hitter, and the previously unpublished Reunion.

The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project is a collection of lighthearted contemporary m/m romances containing a group of former frat boys navigating adult life, a wedding, and at least a couple of surprises. Or something.

MiKi.J.'s review:

This novella is the perfect companion book to the whole Alpha Tau stories !!! They are all of the short stories/bonus shorts in one book - plus one extra. The authors have made notes on each story to say where they are situated time-wise for each book....and that reunion story at the end - **chefs kiss**....especially the proposal !! bahahahaha I loved each story - it was such fun to read them. They certainly did make me laugh (Marty...how could you not laugh with him - that date night !! ROFL !!!) .... and swoon and sigh with happiness. Great series overall.....just freakin' brilliant !!

Angel's review:

Bro Jobs;

I loved this cute and quirky short story about Trey and Scout. Even when Scout was freaking out he knew what he wanted, or rather, who he wanted. I thought this was such a fun little story to read, I just wish it was longer!

Romancing Dalton Beauregard;

In this story we got to see Marty try to romance Dalton, and things didn't exactly go to plan... I thought this story was full of humor and it was so adorable. I loved watching Marty try to plan out his romantic plans for Dalton, and I felt sympathy for him when they didn't go as intended. The scene where he books the French film left me giggling, I was not expecting that to happen, and oh my gosh was it hilarious! "It turned out that romancing Dalton Beauregard didn’t have to be some grand gesture with a boombox or a candygram. And it didn’t have to be out of a Hallmark movie like a picnic or a romantic candlelit dinner. It just had to be me and him being us. Being together, and being in love."

Make Up Sex;

Casey and Briar's story is so sweet and full of heat. I love the openness that these two men have with each other, they are both extremely supportive of each other and that shows in volumes in this short story. I enjoyed being able to revisit these characters, and seeing Casey realize his inner, (and outer) beauty.

Pitch Hitter;

I think this has been the steamiest one so far out of the other short stories. Nash was supposed to be meeting a guy he met on Grindr, but said guy stood him up. But as luck has it an older gentlemen asks him to join him for dinner, and that man is everything he has ever wanted.

Nash and Paul's story was full of steam, acceptance, and southern charm. I don't read a lot of Daddy/Boy books, it isn't my cup of tea, but this one wasn't bad! It wasn't the main focus of the story, which I personally enjoyed, but it was still prominent as that was what Nash was looking for. Overall another great story!

Reunion;

I LOVED THIS!! I have absolutely adored every single book that has been apart of the Alpha Tau series, and this short story encompassed the whole series so beautifully. We got to see how each and every characters lives are now, what they are up to, and we were able to see these characters reconnecting with each other after a long time apart. I really liked the multiple perspectives we got within this short, it was incredible to get one more glimpse of each character. This was really well written, and while it is a short story, you don't feel as though it is with how much is packed into it.

All in all, this collection was fabulous, magnificent, and very enjoyable to read. I'm sad to see this series end, but this was such a unique and fun way to wrap up this series.

Heather's Review:

If you're like me and rarely click on the link to the bonus material at the end of the book, you'll appreciate that Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey have collected and bundled all of the novellas and from the series into one place and added a beautiful final Reunion story!

I admit that this time I did read some of the bonus stories because Sarah Honey spoils me when she sends me ARCs and sends the bonus story, but getting to read the final Reunion story was wonderful!  I love getting to see where life has taken all of the Alpha Tau guys and what happens when they get back together.... Author friends take note - this is the way to wrap up a series!

This book is not meant to be read standalone, but can be read in part after each story or all together at the end to relive the experience!
