#NSFWednesday this week is this historical romance delight from Ellie Thomas. An Unlikely Alliance is an MMM romance, set in the London of the early 1800s. Once you've enjoyed this NSFW excerpt, the book is available now.
From the blurb:
During the final week of February in 1808, Clement Metcalfe has a brief and heated encounter in the back room of a busy London coffee house with bashful gentleman Humphrey Atkinson.
Clem, a private secretary, is accustomed to grabbing at random interludes to brighten his tedious and underpaid working days following a professional fall from grace. But Humphrey seems to hanker after more than one taste.
So Clem introduces Humphrey to Abe Pengelly, the other semi-regular man in his life. Imposingly dark and dangerous, Abe is an enigmatic figure, with his operations based at the decaying and infamous Old Red Lion Tavern. His endeavours, if not blatantly lawless and criminal, are definitely murky.
There’s an undeniable attraction between the three men that promises passion. However, Clem discovers that his lovers are also willing to exert themselves on his behalf to right past wrongs.
Might this be a case where three is not a crowd but the perfect number?
Excerpt:
Clement Metcalfe was in the not-unprecedented position of kneeling before another man. He wasn’t begging for mercy or pledging fealty, but gamahuching a rather generous stand.
The member in question belonged to a pleasant-looking swell in his early twenties, whose name escaped Clem, since he’d never asked. Their late afternoon encounter in a bustling Holborn coffee house consisted of a meeting of eyes and an immediate affirming of intentions. No utterances were required.
They swiftly proceeded to a back room, little more than a storage cupboard, lit only by a skylight and unknown to most of the clientele. Clem’s familiarity with this conveniently private space was due to a fleeting intimacy with a waiter at the establishment. Neither he nor his fellow employees objected to Clem using this bolt hole for the occasional conquest.
Clem had been loitering at the counter since he was not required by his employer for half an hour. He was cadging a cup of coffee from his waiter friend when he spotted the likely prospect. His well-cut garments led Clem to suppose he was a respectable gentleman, but the spark in his eye in response to Clem’s once-over promised some enjoyable devilment.
That always seems to do the trick, Clem thought, grinning around the considerable mouthful. When I licked my lips, I thought he’d spend on the spot. To follow up that intention, he swallowed the gentleman’s cock, the dark brown bush at its root tickling his nose agreeably. The resulting desperate moan went straight to Clem’s nether regions.
With his mouth still engaged, he employed his hands in delving into the front fall of his pantaloons to release his very excited stand.
The recipient of his attentions must have appreciated the vista. He gripped Clem’s hair, albeit not too roughly, as he seemed the considerate sort. He started to moan incoherently as his hips rocked faster.
Clem was satisfied with his work so far. He’s just my type. There was something about an outwardly mild and decent sort of gentleman that set Clem’s pulse racing. He could never withstand unleashing the caged tiger of their lust.
Irresistible. Clem disengaged slightly, allowing his tongue to swirl around the swollen head, adding a hint of teeth. The hands tightened in his hair.
“Oh, good God,” the man exclaimed.
Well, maybe a demi-god, thought Clem, or a naughty sprite. Briefly, Clem imagined himself to be a follower of the Ancient Greek god Dionysius, luring the guileless and unwary into luxurious depravity.
