Christie Gordon takes us back to Arizona with her second Desert Ice Hockey book -this time giving us a romance between a player and a coach in Crossing Lines.
From the blurb:
Jonah
I’m minding my own business when he struts into our locker room.
His confidence and sex appeal in his fitted suit and million-dollar smile are undeniable.
After picking my jaw off the floor, I collect myself. I need to find out more about him.
Do I follow him around? Yes. Do I make a fool of myself? Maybe.
While celebrating a win at the gay bar, my temper flares when I see him with another man. Do I dare take a chance?
Ryan
The first day at my new coaching job, he’s there. A winger whose dark hair and light blue eyes have me stumbling over my first words to the team.
Personal relations with players aren’t allowed. But he plays offense and I coach defense, so does it count?
Everywhere I go, he’s there. Tempting me.
My resolve is crumbling and I’m struggling to keep my distance.
When he catches me at a gay bar in a compromising position, it’s game over. Can we keep this hidden?

Heather's Review:
Christie Gordon's ability to merge steam and story once again comes to light in Crossing Lines, where she takes on the forbidden, secret romance between the new, young defensive coach and the star hockey forward who is getting noticed...
I loved how she blended Ryan's past with the budding relationship and how the story captured a sweet and steamy romance between two men who could truly build a strong relationship. Jonah is such a strong and decisive person and it shows as he pursues Ryan. While the relationship is somewhat forbidden, it's outside forces that bring the angst and the darkness to the story... leaving these two men to navigate obstacles and find a path to their HEA!
Crossing Lines is currently available as an e-book, hard cover and paperback and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
