A second chance romance with all the feels. Davey & Mack were together years before their differences in what their life should be. They became too much for either to be truly happy. Two years after their divorce, not much has changed aside from being divorced. Davey, for the first time, is home for an extended period of time with his family and sees what he's truly been missing. It's not magic they don't just get back together, all problems solved, no, they put actual effort into their relationship this time around. You can feel the growth of both characters and how both needed to change for this to work. Their divorce was not one-sided, but both with real communication for it to work once again
We get to see all the DMC men in their full meddlesome glory in this final story. With each passing book, you got to see how much each of these men needed the rest to find their new happiness. It is sad to say goodbye, but it was a beautiful way to move on.

Sometimes putting your wants and needs first can still require compromise and timing and as we watch Davey and Mack struggle with their situation in the final Divorced Men's Club book, we also see just how important communication is...
A different kind of second chance story where both men have lived in a kind of limbo since their divorce, it becomes a true case of putting in the work to make a second go of their relationship, despite the best intentions of their friends and the intense demands of Mack's work...
This was a swoony, but angst filled wrap to the DMC and totally worth the read! I think it's best read in order, but if you're just a sucker for second chances, you should be able to navigate the book as a standalone with ease, just be warned you'll want to go back and read the other 5 HEAs once you meet the rest of the DMC....
