Not gonna lie, book 2 of the no holds barred duet does start off slower than Hooks In. But that is necessary from the events of book 1, Ty needs to get his confidence back to where it was. When something like that happens, time is needed, and well these two have a uniquely them way of going about that. These two are not nor ever will be a lovey dovey they are snippy and love hard ans strong. They solve life and love issues in the cage or on the mats, but guess what, thar works for them. They have a true alpha love story of two powerful men showing their vulnerable side in their true life partner.

As for the mma action again, you can tell the author did research and / or knows the sport. The love of this sport is so strong you can't help but be captivated but this lifestyle. This is not a standalone. You need to read before HOOKS IN to fully grasp this couple.
