Seriously. How am I supposed to get anything done when I’m stuck in a Speedo that should be illegal to wear in public? Like, seriously. Where is the rest of the material? Watching him defend himself and take down someone nearly double his size has me impressed and feeling very… protective. I need to know him. I need to have him.

This is the beginning of a new series and it starts out strong. Once I started reading it, I had a hard time putting it down.
Levi and Chase are unusual characters. Levi, having had a rough childhood, was now the star at La Maison de M, a gentlemen's club. His act and personality are almost magical. Then one night he meets Chase.
Chase, former cop, has his life completely changed when a family member is murdered. He has a more vigilante outlook on life since. He is no longer a cop but is in the business of correcting what the justice system doesn’t.
These two have an instant attraction but can’t do anything about it since Chase is undercover. But Levi is impossible to resist and their relationship changes. There is a lot more story here with a kidnapper and an undefined family. There are a few laughs at the antics of some of Levi’s brothers and even his “dad”. I really enjoyed this story. I like that the author used characters from previous stories but this is really a standalone. I can’t wait to see what is next in the series.
