I freaking loved JJ and Dr. Wilder aka Killian!! They were so passionate about one another. And who knew the ice cold Dr. Wilder could be so swoony!! Certainly not his students I'll tell you that. He was different with JJ. With him Killian could relax his guard. The same was true for JJ. They felt effortlessly comfortable in each others presence. It was actually really sweet. And also set your kindle on fire hot when these two got up to some steamy times.

There were definitely some hurdles these two men had to jump before they could have their HEA. The biggest one being the fact that Killian is a lecturer at the same college JJ attends. However, JJ is in the dance program which means he will never be taking any business classes taught by his man. It's a fine line and not everyone agrees on how they feel about it. In the end Killian and JJ had to decide what truly meant more to them, their potential future careers or the insatiable need for the other

I loved catching up with Ander and Elliot. Those two are still going strong and it was kind of cute seeing Ander try and get Killian to warm up to him. After all, he is one of JJ's best friends and his roommate. I'm hoping this isn't the last one in the LSU series. I've really enjoyed them all and just love whenever Becca Steele puts out a new MM!

Third in series (LSU), but can be read as a standalone. Age gap. Grumpy/sunshine. Dual POV. 

An anonymous one night stand sparks some super hot chemistry between college lecturer Killian and dance student J.J., but when they meet again they both know it can only be temporary. Killian is serious and driven, planning to be department head, but he certainly doesn’t expect to have a surprising connection to JJ, and certainly not to become so obsessed and possessive with the younger man. JJ has never wanted a relationship, but something about the time he spends with Killian builds strong and conflicted emotions. 

With a ton of spice at first, the emotional build up is slow to happen, but when it does I really appreciated that J.J. and Killian learned about each other and weighed the importance of them having a relationship against the other things in their lives that might cause conflict. The writing was emotional and the romance felt true to the two men that hadn’t counted on having to fight to be together. I fully enjoyed this story and J.J. and Killian’s romance was so fun to read.

I've come to learn that my favourite reads lately involve three things... a little bit of risk, a lot of steam and at least one character that grows into the relationship... and Ignited is a perfect blend of all three!  Add in age gap, opposites attract and the spicy meet cute at the strip club, followed by a second encounter in Killian's office and I was hooked!

I love how the emotional pacing is slow burn, while the steam burns hot and heavy, making you crave that connection that you know you want the characters to have.  This is one of those books I just couldn't put down because I kept craving the next chapter!
