A Little Christmas! Matty's Secret, A Little Christmas Season 2 by JP Sayle

What a beautifully sweet daddy/little Christmas romance! JP Sayle brings us MATTYS SECRET in season 2 of the little Christmas series with this swoon worthy story.

From the blurb:

Can a visit to a secret garden in Chicago give two men what they have been seeking—a relationship that fulfills both their needs?

Finding a job after his discharge from the army proves an easy task for Weston Forrester.
Finding a 'boy'? Yeah, not so much. Until he meets Matty, who is all kinds of sweet, but needs time.
So Weston keeps it light, waiting for Matty to trust him.

Matty Bevan is a magnet for cheaters and liars, and Weston seems too good to be true, even if he does give off 'Daddy' vibes. But each encounter draws Matty closer. His heart on the line, he asks his best friend for help. Only things don't quite go according to plan.
A cute little fox is about to get his Christmas wish—except it's more than he bargained for.

A Little Christmas! Matty's Secret is part of A Little Christmas: Season Two 2023 multi-author series with themes loosely based on the classic book A Secret Garden. Each book in A Little Christmas is a standalone. But each boy is silly, unique, lovable, and downright adorable, so why not read them all.

Lori C's Review:

All Matty wants is a Daddy of his own. Someone who will love him and care for him and treat him with respect. During his secret garden visits, Matty finds himself attracted to a handsome, mysterious stranger. Weston is newly arrived in Chicago. He is connecting with his old military buddies to find work close to home to be near his mom. Working with Austin and Warner is just like the old days. When Austin asks him to help a friend who is being harassed, it doesn’t immediately click that Austin’s friend is his sweet boy from the secret garden. When the two meet in person at Austin and Gaine’s home, Matty is worried yet excited. Did the handsome Weston play him?

I’ve been following this series by JP Sayle since Terrence’s story came out. I love these characters and this little slice of Chicago that we get to see. Now, with Matty’s story, we see how hard it is to find a solid partner. Watching Matty open up and learn to trust Weston is the best part of this book. I love that Matty found his happily ever after. I felt like I just sped through his story because it was so easy to read. The friendships that Terrence, Gaines, and Matty share and those of the Daddies Warner, Weston, and Austin make these books special. I hope we’ll continue to see this group of guys and more of their friends finding their special person.

Molly Otto's Review:

JP just has a talent in writing daddy/little holiday romances that are just the right amount of sweetness and enough to keep you reading. Matty & Weston have a chance meeting in a park and slowly take their time to get to know the other. When life gets in the way, Weston steps in to show Matty what a true Daddy is all about.

A great sweet holiday tale, even those who don't generally read Daddy kink I can see enjoying this read.

Nicole's Review:

Matty and Weston are the perfect amount of sweet for this holiday daddy story. We got some cameos from some of JP's other daddy stories, which are always nice.

This is a bit of a slow burn, which led to great chemistry between Daddy and his pumpkin! I wish we would have gotten more time with Matty in his foxy personality, as that seemed to dissipate once the secondary plot points kicked in.

Weston was a fantastic daddy, and his protector instincts with Peter were spot on.

This was a fun holiday story with the perfect amount of daddy/little kink.

Heather's Review:

In the vein of the Little Christmas series, we have a little with a secret - he's being bullied at work by an ex... and despite having a slew of daddies in his orbit, he finds his champion in a man he meets by chance in the park while exploring 'secret gardens'...

I truly enjoyed getting to know both Matty and Weston and I appreciated the pacing of the book and the fact that Weston made sure their relationship moved at a reasonable pace - which, while fast for a traditional relationship, was actually pretty slow burn for one in the kink sphere.

I also enjoyed the cameos from JP's other holiday stories and getting to see the other littles and their daddies interact with Matty and Weston.

This was a sweet and light take on the kink, with some age play and regression but no ABDL and no BDSM.  It was a fun read and definitely put a smile on my face.
