Seltzer's Taylor

Bringing together TL Travis' Rocktoberfest entry for this year, with Embrace the Fear, Seltzer's Taylor gives us a glimpse into the rock world they've created and has us following not only Selter and Jeremiah's relationship, but also the band dynamics and cameos for Embrace the Fear, Social Sinners and Maiden Voyage on their Road to Rocktoberfest 2023.

From the blurb:

Lynden Alan Ackerman the third, aka, Seltzer – don’t ask how he got the nickname, his younger sister is still traumatized over the whole incident. Seltzer, the lead guitarist for the band Embrace the Fear was caught in a compromising position with the younger brother of the not so happy drummer from the mega band, Social Sinners, Diamond.

“Don’t poke the bear,” Stoli, lead guitarist for Social Sinners and Seltzer’s mentor warns while moving Seltzer out of Diamond’s reach. But being the jokester was Seltzer’s MO, though Diamond’s growls and clenched fists should’ve been a sign to back off.

Jeremiah Taylor grips his brother’s bicep while he and Diamond’s husband Easton do their best to calm the beast. Was the hook up with Seltzer worth it? Yes, and no.

Though this wasn’t their first time…

Heather's Review:

Seltzer's Taylor was a fun addition to TL Travis's band worlds - Seltzer and Jeremiah getting their HEA, Jeremiah finding his place in his new family and Seltzer figuring out what he really wants...

I really appreciated so much about this book, but I was really looking for more about Jeremiah's past and how that was impacting his current and potential future...  and I would have loved more memories of Seltzer's grandmother, but otherwise it was a really enjoyable read.

While this book could be read standalone as part of the Road to Rocktoberfest 2023, it is really better read as the next book in a long series of stories by TL Travis that started with the Maiden Voyage series.
