From the blurb:

I was looking for a fake husband, but what I found was so much more.

Something was in the air the night I walked into the club. It was like the clouds parted and there he was, the most stunning man I’d ever seen. He looked like he could be fun for a few hours, but as night turned to day, I proposed to him. If I wanted my inheritance and to take my rightful place in my family’s business, I needed a husband, and Raphael seemed like the right man for the job.

When my family finds out, all hell breaks loose and long-hidden family secrets tumble out of the closet, putting me and my burgeoning happiness in danger. But Raphael has secrets of his own, and when he’s forced to reveal them, I’m faced with a life-changing decision. If he’s telling the truth, our meeting wasn’t a coincidence at all. I was only looking for a fake husband, but maybe this thing with us isn’t fake at all. Do I follow the path I originally set out on or listen to my heart and embrace a future that is Endlessly Raphael?

Molly Otto's Review:

Immortal Assassins is just that perfect blend of bloodlust to protect those in need with the passion to find their one true mate. This time, it's Raphaels' turn, and oh boy, does he get a handful with the open to try anything and everything Haven. Haven has been wronged so much by his power-hungry family that he must turn to a quickie marriage in the hope of right some of these wrongs. The story Mia builds is that of both vengeance and forgiveness while deserved.

What makes Haven so endearing is his love for life and acceptance of all that comes his way, even when so many have wronged him. Raphael is so afraid to accept love yet, so open to writing others' mistakes shows such a beautiful and open heart. Together, they just complement one another so well you know they're fated. Yet another great addition to this phenomenal series.

Jacqueleen the Reading Queen's Review:

"ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ. ɪ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀʏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴏᴜᴄʜ ᴍᴇ."

Oh, I am just loving this series by Mia Monroe! The vampires are just so damn romantic! The way they talk is just so swooney it makes my heart sigh in a good way. I felt like this book was less angsty than the others. Raphael and Haven felt the pull almost immediately, and they took advantage of those feelings shortly after. And their chemistry! It was off the charts hot!

"ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ʜᴜʀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ, ʜᴀᴠᴇɴ?"

"ʏᴇꜱ. ʟᴇᴀᴠᴇ ᴍᴀʀᴋꜱ. ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʟᴏᴏᴋ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍɪʀʀᴏʀ ᴛᴏᴍᴏʀʀᴏᴡ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴇᴇ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴅɪᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ."

I just loved these two together. Raphael may have tried to deny the fact that Haven was his mate at first, but it didn't take him long to realize his mistake. There were just too many signs. It was wonderful seeing his brothers be so thrilled for him. Even Yves, who is desperate for his own mate to appear, is overjoyed for his brother. Speaking of Yves, I know his book is last, but we do get a possible hint as to who is meant for him. It just seemed too coincidental for me to look past it, and I'm sure you'll know what I mean when you read it.

I'm excited that Thorn must be next. He's the one member of the family that has adamantly made his feelings on not wanting a mate clear. I think Thorn is a vampire with many layers and it is going to take quite the special mortal mate (or maybe mortals plural) to unravel them all. I hope we don't have to wait too long to find out!

Sheena's Review:

This is the 4th in the Immortal Assassin's series and really is best read as part of the series. This is Raphael's story. He is the quiet, artistic brother, and I was so looking forward to him meeting his other half, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I am absolutely loving this series. These vamps are seriously romantic and, even after several lifetimes, hopeful and open to finding their soul mates.

I loved Haven right away when I met him. He's femme, fierce and knows exactly what he wants. Right from the moment they lay eyes on each other, it's HOT 🔥. Once we start finding out more about Haven and his situation, the story just gets better. I adored these two together and once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. The story moves along at a great pace and it's swoonsome, steamy, sweet and I loved it. I also loved that Haven totally embraced everything Raphael is with zero hesitation, and I loved the enthusiasm he had for joining him forever, it was refreshing there was zero angst.

I am loving this whole series, and I think the next story will be Thorn, which will be great. He's so reluctant and resistant to fated mates, I can't wait to see him fall.

Heather's Review:

Raphael's story is sweeter and Haven is the reason!  He just fits... he's that amazing combination of savvy and sweet and is up for anything - he just takes stuff in stride after being kicked out of his family and having to survive on his own... I love that he just owns himself - femme, fierce and fabulous and he stands up to everyone who wants to get in his way, but still has that little bit of naiveite.

With a fake marriage trope that is real from the get go, the chemistry between Raph and Haven is off the charts!  I love the way their relationship burns bright and strong!

This is the fourth book in the series, but could be read as standalone if you needed to (I do recommend checking them all out though).
