First off, August is the sweetest lead singer! He's a little naive, a little clueless, and all heart! There are just so many forces acting against him - and in so many ways he's his own worst enemy and critic. Ted is the perfect foil, patient and altruistic, but also positioned to help August reach his true potential - and hey, throw in a little chemistry....
The crises that August suffers show him both how he can lean on friends, but the little voice in his head that says to distance himself is strong too... and it doesn't help that Ted is clueless to romance... and sharing his romantic feelings...
More Than October was a great read, and a lovely addition to the multi-author series. I highly recommend checking it out if you love a hurt/comfort redemption story that packs a lot into their hard won HEA!
