Okay, I did pick this up because of the cover - it's far too pretty! However, when I read the description, I knew I'd like this. I was right.
From the start, I really loved how different the aliens were. It's hard to explain, but they are almost part plant as well as a creature. They are very unusual. Zat'tor takes one look at Levi and that is it. I adore that kind of thing in books. He's never overbearing and respects boundaries. It's sweet and their relationship is very loving.
It's a shorter read, but there's plenty of world-building and scene setting. The steam was balanced with the plot. I enjoyed how the pregnancy was done, too.
Hopefully, we will get the other two humans stories, because there are stories there.
