Last Courtesan of Olympus by Amanda Meuwissen

"So many gods, so many tales told, and life lessons learned." Angel read Last Courtesan of Olympus.

From the blurb:

MM encounters to shake the heavens.

Aikos is the best at what he does, the most skilled and coveted acolyte of Aphrodite, and he knows it, but when his beauty and allure attracts the attention of the gods themselves, his ascension to courtesan takes a turn he never expected.

Straight to Olympus.

Given by Zeus as a gift to eight of the male Greek gods, Aikos must please each of them and decide between them who he will serve, without earning himself a tragic end. Can he choose when the one tenet of Aphrodite’s temple he knows the least—love, in all its forms—is the one he most needs to understand now?

Indulge in the divine desires of the gods in this enticing standalone novel, with content warnings before each chapter, such as roleplay, wing-play, tentacles, and more.

Angel's Review:

I have been so excited to dive into my copy of this book. I've been promoting on my socials and that has just made the wait well worth it. I was not prepared for what was within the pages of this book, I was surprised. I have to say that I was not expected or prepared for the journey Aikos took us on. He not only met one god, but several.

He didn't just get to know them intimately in bed, but he also got to learn more about who they actually are. He learned what stories are accurate and what really happened, versus the stories he and the other mortals got told. He was with 8 gods, and by the end of his time with all 8, he was told he could only choose to be with one. But Aikos... Doesn't always follow the rules.

I really enjoyed this story. It wasn't just about the spicy times, (although those were very prominent throughout this book), there was character growth, and stories told about the gods. Each god got their own story/stories to share with Aikos, something that others don't know. I really enjoyed getting to meet each and every god right alongside Aikos. That was such a cool concept! I loved the way Amanda wrote this Greek mythology story.

If I had to choose my favorite god that I liked Aikos the most with, that would probably be Hephaestus. Mainly because even though Hephaestus's appearance was scraggly and rough, he was still tender and gentle with Aikos. Which I thought was sweet. With each chapter you get to know the gods right alongside Aikos, you'll probably like some gods more than others (there are definitely a few I didn't like how they treated Aikos) but you'll still fall in love with this story. It's so much more than steam and spice.

The writing was so exquisitely detailed; it was like I was in a Greek world, envisioning all of these mythological gods.

And the ending! My goodness, the ending I was not prepared for! But it was soo good and really brought the story to a close.

If you like Greek mythology, Last Courtesan of Olympus is the story for you!
