I love that Dominic gets his own story - the character almost stole the whole show in Unnecessary Roughness and I wanted to learn more about the young man who raced around everywhere at lightning speeds and could kick like a champ!  Roughing the Kicker not only provides answers to how and why Dom is who he is today, but also gives us a chance to meet the man who stole his heart and put him on the trajectory to where he is today - Jesse!

This book combines the best of the series - the friendships, the passion, the humour, the chemistry and just a little bit of underhanded dealings into one amazing book.  We also get to glimpse and interact with all of the previous couples and their extended families.  My only downside was that there were three spots in the book where I went - okay they've got it the book can be done... but I'm so glad I read right through to the final twist - it was the perfect way to wrap up the series.

I truly hope this duo continues to write together and if I may suggest a spin-off series featuring a company of former Navy Seals who recently relocated to the Portland area as their next foray, then this is me asking...

For a character who was never meant to have his own story, Dominic aka the fast fucker's book was an amazing ending for the Package Deal series. I think I fell in love with him from his first wheelchair race with Jackson in the hospital. His personality was just so fun and bright and I am so happy these lovely authors decided to give him his own love story. And what a story it was!

"Some things in life were meant to be savored, and Dominic Rossi was definitely one of them.

I just loved the whole premise of how Jesse and Dom met. A whirlwind weekend fling 3 years before neither could forget. What are the odds Dom ends up playing for the Pirates and that Jesse's brother just so happens to be married to one. Sounds like fate to me don't you think? And their chemistry? Holy guacamole these two couldn't keep their hands off each other. Horndogs the both of them. I thought I'd have to wave my kindle around to keep it from smoking they were so hot. Aside from the heat, Dom and Jesse also had some incredibly sweet moments as well thanks for Jesses self-proclaimed romantic side.

"Home was a physical place you went to. But since I'd found him again, the location had changed for me. No matter where we were, as long as we were together, it was home."

It was lovely to see all the guys come together and show support for each other, especially during the last bit of the book. I've fallen in love with all these men over the course of 6 books and their entire found family. I'm also equally as excited that we are also given some new men to fall in love with who will be getting their own stories in a spin off! Hot former Navy Seals? YES PLEASE!!!

I woke up Sunday morning in the middle of the king-sized bed with a raging hard-on and a big man wrapped around me like a blanket. A hint of a smile painted my face at the thought of seven days of spur-of-the-moment, whenever-you-want-it sex. I was pretty much good to go when the wind blew, but maybe that had changed for him.

Pfft. I knew Jesse wouldn’t say no. He was a raging horn dog, just like me. That’s what made this arrangement so perfect. 

Needing to get a move on things, I wiggled my ass at him just enough to make him stir. I smiled when his hand slipped down from my abs to take hold of my throbbing dick. Finally. I hummed at the pressure he used to squeeze the shit out of my cock. While it felt good, it wasn’t getting me any closer to coming.

“Hey,” I grumbled over my shoulder, “get a move on. My dick isn’t a pull-up bar you’re supposed to hold on to.” I thrust my hips back and forth to inspire him, but that only seemed to slow him down. Fucker.

Jesse stirred without a word, then flipped to his other side. He wasn’t supposed to let go of my shaft. What the fuck was going on?

“Hey,” I called again. “What’s wrong? Are you sick or something? Or is your age finally catching up to you?”

I waited for him to verbally spar with me like he usually did, but he ignored me.

Flipping over, I stubbed my dick on the sheet tucked under him and hissed. “Fuck, that hurt!”

Still no response.

I whipped off the sheet and got on my knees to lean over him. Maybe he really was sick or something.

Leaning over his body to get a better look at his face, I braced my hand on the bed in front of him. “You mad, bro?”

Before I knew what was happening, Jesse grabbed my arm and flipped me onto my back. Within a second, he had me pinned down on the bed. His hands held my arms in place while his legs contorted to hold mine down.

For a moment, I thought he might be having a flashback from the service. Then I saw his bright blue eyes filled with lust taking in my body before he slammed his mouth onto mine.

I could have gotten out from under him if I really wanted to, but I just needed him to fuck the hell out of me this morning.

Jesse pulled back, then grinned down at me. “It would seem the time has come for you to pay for your smart-ass comments from yesterday.”

Holy damn hot shit! I loved it when he did this. But of course, I had to play my part and protest some to make it good.
