Draxl: Apocalyptic Himbos by Casey Cox

A hottie from the future wants to hook up in order to save the world. When Burleigh meets Draxl and it ends up being much more than a one night stand, can two men from different periods in time make it work?

From the blurb:

The year is 2387, humanity is on the brink of annihilation, and I'm the only one who can stop it.

My mission: Travel back in time to unlock the life force that's been stolen from us.

The survival of the entire human race depends on me.

BURLEIGH

As far as pickup lines go, I'm from the future and need to have sex with you to save the entire human race, it's…original.

For a second, I almost believe him. Until he disappears into thin air right in front of me.

Now what…?

SNik's Review:

First in series (Apocalyptic Himbos). Sci-fi futuristic. Soulmates. Dual POV.

Draxl is a soldier on a mission, time jumping from the future to find the one person that he is meant to be with and reignite the lifeforce of humanity. Burleigh is happy as the personal assistant to the most famous models in the world, but meeting Draxl turns his life upside down in so many unexpected ways. Draxl knows Burleigh is his soulmate but as time passes and they get to know each other he patiently waits in hopes that Burleigh will feel the same.

An interesting futuristic world build that leaves open a lot of questions that are sure to be answered as the series continues, where the future of the human race is in danger and perhaps an unlikely group of men may end up saving mankind.

Burleigh and Draxl are sweet together and actually spend time conversing and sharing their past experiences in an honest way that is refreshingly swoony. Burleigh is no damsel in distress and asks all kinds of questions while accepting his fate is linked to Draxl.

It will be fun to see where this series goes.
