Opposed: Enemies to Lovers BDSM by T. M. Chris

A little twist on the normal attorney story Opposed is sort of enemy to lovers and yet more a competitors who admire each other to lovers.  When forced to be on opposing sides of the law... will the truthful side win.

From the blurb:

Duffy is from the wrong side of the tracks, Trent is old money. Duffy is a defense attorney, Trent is a prosecutor. The two couldn’t be more opposed. But sometimes opposites attract, especially when one’s a Dom and the other’s a sub.

Duffy’s impassioned representation of a client he believes to be innocent carries over into the bedroom when he demonstrates for Trent how fun—and consensual—rough sex can be. Soon these opposing attorneys are finding their way to a mutually satisfying verdict.

Bonus : Trent and Duffy’s story is framed by the story of Gideon and Cole, a younger Dom and sub who have made some mistakes but who will find their way to a happy power exchange relationship by following the advice of their attorneys.

Reedkaye's Review:

The latest story by this author held my attention from beginning to end. Opposed is sort of a enemies to story but I feel it’s more a competitor too. Trent and Duffy respect each other as opposing attorneys but they also have this competitive thing concerning the other. While both like winning I felt it was an attraction as much as a competition but then their careers does have the goal of winning.

Duffy ends up representing Cole a kid who is accused of abuse of his supposedly boyfriend. While Trent is the prosecutor. Trent has a winning case even though he wonders if Gideon is telling the truth about what happened. Duffy makes it his mission to convince Trent to relook at everything, in the meantime things change between Trent and Duffy.

While this is a serious issue and the possibility of this really happening the story also brings out how different relationships can work. Even though this is a short story I feel the author did a great job of defining the characters and the situations so that it was easy for me to picture.

I’m now anxious to see what is next from this author.
