The new healer for a billionaire's harem, Brodie has a job to do, but the abuse of the imprisoned supernatural men in the group is horrifying. When Brodie finds himself attracted to the wolf shifter named Red it makes his job even harder, he can’t stop his feelings but has to stay on task or risk the safety of everyone in the harem, including Red.
There are tough parts of this story, and a set of men that have forged a bond together from their mutual suffering. A familiarity with Rodman’s previous books is helpful as this story takes place in a previously established supernatural universe, but it’s not necessary to enjoy the story.
Brodie and Red connect instantly and it’s not purely physical attraction as they are both protectors and find comfort and kindness with each other.
Rodman knows how to write a quick story with plenty of emotion and steam for an entertaining book and this first entry into a new series does not disappoint.

I just like how S. Rodman writes. Every book is interesting, there's little Easter eggs for those who have read other books in their world.
Unfettered Omega is the start of a new series going through each of the guys in the harem. Each one is a different supernatural type, with one human who is also a vessel.
Some parts are hard going. Brodie struggles with it, and that made me struggle with the abuse the guys go through. None are there by choice. They are dehumanized by referring to them as colors. They have no freedoms, not even a choice of clothing. Brodie's moral struggle helped me like him all the more, especially since he tries so hard to be caring for the guys.
It's sad but fascinating, and each character takes on their own personality and traits.
Red and Brodie were great together and I'm looking forward to Gray's story especially.
