I'm a sucker for the best friend's father trope... and when Quinn says he's been biding his time for years, waiting to be old enough and finished high school to be ready to take his shot with Joshua, my heart melted...

While I agree with the author's description of spicy MM age-gap, son’s best friend romance, I have to say that there was a little more angst than I would typically say is low angst.... but it helped keep the story true to life and moving at a pace that wasn't rushed or too sweet!

I loved the road trip around the UP of Michigan and the author's descriptions of the places - plus matching t-shirts for the win!
