Two Dragons, One Mate, The Last Mortals #2 by Silvana Falcon

"I've been waiting for this one, and it was well worth the wait!" Angel on Two Dragons, One Mate.

From the blurb:

Could you choose between your heart and your soul?

Fate has chosen two dragon princes for Ben, but dragons don't share. Both of them want him to settle on one mate.

It's an impossible task.

Should Ben decide on Earnan, the ice prince who promises to steal him away, or Nevin, the fire prince who would burn the earth to the ground to keep him?

Ben knows there's only one correct answer. He wants both. He needs both—at the same time. They're meant to be together, all three of them.

If only his mates could see past their stupid rivalry… they'd see they need each other too. Ben can feel their yearning for each other, the forbidden desires they don't want to admit even to themselves.

Fire and ice don't have to be enemies. They can be lovers too.

And grown dragons can still learn how to share.

The second book in the Last Mortals series. Add it to your shelf to keep up to date!

Angel's Review:

Two Dragons, One Mate is the second book in this increasingly magical and action packed series. In this book we not only got an epic love story between two dragons and their human, but we also learned some about water dragons! Which honestly fascinates me, I really hope Lachlan's story is next, I want to know more about water dragon's  and his character.

Ben is a mortal who is new to this mate concept, not only does he have one mate.. he ends up with two! Two dragons who can't help but argue and deny what they want, or more like, who they want. This is a slow burn love story with the fated mates aspect folded into the mix. The way the author wrote this was really fascinating to me, the way the characters are partially shifted is something I've only read about in these two books.

The romance for these three men built slowly, but once they were confronted with danger; and realizing life is too short, they decided to go for what they wanted. Instead of worrying about what the media would think.

The plot twist in this book! I was not prepared for it! The traitor... I didn't even suspect this person, which is a very big win on Silvana's part. So, so good!

There is spicy scenes in this story but they aren't too much. I liked that they eventually admitted how they felt and the scene towards the end of the book? When they are all together in bed?.. 🔥

I highly recommend this book, grab you're today! And while this could be read as a standalone I strongly suggest reading the first book before this one.

'He was finally exactly where he should be, stuck between his mates, one with them."

Laora's Review:

I have not read book one in the series, but a quick catch up at the beginning of this book did provide me with enough information to follow this current story. The author created a wonderful world with opposing 'countries' Nd their perspective on the throuple.

Ben has found two dragons as his fated mates and has to choose between them since they are to be Kings in future. It takes a while but after some time and instances they form a throuple and find their hfn/hea as mates and as Kings of their 'lands'.

Holly's Review:

Initially, I wondered how a fated mates trope could possibly force a mate to choose between two people, and man, oh man did the author take me on a journey.

The push and pull, the yearning, the plot twists, and the drama were incredible, and when they finally reach a resolution, my heart sang for them all.

Such a great read, and I’ll be looking for more from this author.
