“I can basically eat whatever the hell I want because I burn a lot on the job,” Cas said.

“It shows.” I shot him an appreciative look. “You’re hot.”

The man had long legs with a pair of thick thighs and the most perfect ass, probably sculpted by hard labor rather than working in the gym. 

Cas all but choked on whatever he’d been eating, coughing and sputtering until he cleared his airways. “Excuse me, but I must’ve misheard,” he finally said, looking shocked. “Did you say I was…?”

I quirked an eyebrow. “Hot? I sure did. Why? Has no one ever told you before?”

Cas blinked, then narrowed his eyes, studying me as if he was trying to figure out if I was being serious. “You were People’s Sexiest Man Alive four years in a row, and you think I’m hot?”

“What does one have to do with the other? And, by the way, I shared that title with my brother, so it’s really not that big of a deal.”

“I beg to differ, but we can hash that out some other time.” Cas kept looking at me with incredulity.

“Is it that strange that I find you hot? Or is it the age difference that’s bothering you?”

He frowned. “Why would that bother me?”

“I don’t know, maybe because you think it’s creepy when a guy my age hits on you?”

His mouth dropped open. “You’re hitting on me?”

I chuckled. “I’ll take that as a hint I need to work on my flirting game.”
