Precious Salvation will break your heart.  It caused me to stop and think about what happens to unwanted children.  Sage an innocent kid at fourteen is forced into sexual slavery.  This books gave me book hangover.  Highly recommend.

This author has a way of tearing your heart apart. Precious Salvation really did it. Sage losing his mom and not being wanted by his dad ends up in foster care. During this time, he suffers abuse so decides it is better to live on the street. There he is kidnapped and sold into slavery.  

What happens sadly is believable and scary. That is the thing about this author, she has the ability with her stories to tear me apart. This story is so intense not only with what happens to Sage but also there are so many strong feelings about the aftermath.  

The only complaint I have is I never got a feeling about Zevon’s background. I got an understanding about his deep feelings for Sage but didn’t really know who he was.  

I enjoyed the secondary characters. They could easily have their own stories. Even though there are triggers with this author’s books I highly recommend her stories.
