I love this linked universe and I enjoy seeing characters show up again, as well as meeting new ones I'm sure will be in the other books. I appreciated the continued character growth of Seth and Evan. As noted by another book reviewer, their attraction drew me in, but I believed them being apart in this story added to their relationship. Since Seth and Evan were both cursed with the spell where they were unable to touch each other, allowed for the author, Morgan Brice, to add more depth to them as individuals, and as a couple.

The Devil You Know had a good pacing. I felt immersed the whole time. I cannot wait until the next book! The narrator, Kale Williams, did a great job telling this story, without his narration the book would not have been the same.
