Nicked: Nordin, The Foster Brothers #4 by Nora Phoenix

"This was such an amazing series and this last book was just the perfect ending. I absolutely couldn’t put it down once I started." Reds Book Reads on Nicked: Nordin.

From the blurb:

The stupidest thing a con artist can ever do is fall for the man who’s trying to catch him…

Nordin likes to think of himself as a modern-day Robin Hood, redistributing the wealth from those who don’t deserve it to those who do. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it makes good use of his talents and gifts.

Unfortunately, not everyone sees it like that, including FBI agent Tavin Donley. He calls Nordin a con artist, which is, like, such a rude term. Worse, he’s determined to catch Nordin.

That in itself is already a problem, but much worse is the fact that the chemistry between them is explosive. It always has been. And even though they’re adversaries, they can’t keep their hands off each other.

But when fire burns that hot, someone will get burned…

Nicked is the fourth book in The Foster Brothers series, a contemporary MM romance series about four men who chose to be brothers that can be read as stand alones. It has an epic game of cat and mouse, two men who can’t keep their hands off each other, a battle for the top, and the sweetest surrender.

Reds Book Reads Review:

I have loved all of the books in this series, but Nordin has always been the brother we knew the least about and it was so good getting to know more about him and what he does. I loved Tavin as well, and though he was just the perfect opposite of Nordin.

Their relationship was just so sweet and I loved how they communicated throughout their lives despite their conflicting career choices.

Another fantastic series by this author and I loved every second of it!

Heather's Review:

Nordin's story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.  I love how Nora Phoenix interweaves the tale through fifteen years and shares Nordin's view on events that shaped his brother's lives and loves, all while he struggles to have what he wants after putting others first for so long!

I absolutely adore the pull of the relationship between Nordin and Tavin and the push of their chosen paths that keep them apart...

This was an engrossing story and the perfect way to wrap up the Foster Brothers series.  While it could be read standalone, I think you'll enjoy it more if you've read the entire series.

Lesetiger's Review:

The Forster Brothers is a series that I loved. I recommend reading the books in order because then you can enjoy Nordin's story the most.

Nordin was the one of the brothers who always kept his job a secret and the one we learned the least about, which is why I was eagerly anticipating this story. Nordin's story is heartbreaking. He met Tavin at a young age and never lost touch over more than a decade. But the well-being of his brothers has always been Nordin's priority.

Nora Phoenix has a fantastic way of writing and she proved that again here. Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down. Nordin and Tavin have an incredible attraction, even if the head initially decides against the heart.

Nicked Nordin is a fantastic ending to a great series!
